Character history:
Adam moved to
Angel Grove with his friend Rocky and Aisha and not long after, met the Original Rangers and became friends with them. It wasn't long before they found out the Rangers' identity and were sworn to secrecy.
However, due to a once in a lifetime chance, the original Red, Yellow, and Black Rangers resigned from their positions, passing it on to the only people who knew their identity and whom they trusted with their very lives. Adam, Rocky, and Aisha. Adam took the powers of the
Black Power Ranger. And for the next two years upheld the powers, going through many obstacles due to the evil of
Lord Zedd and
Rita Repulsa.
However, when Rita's father, Master Vile, decided to join in, things got hectic and their powers were destroyed. The Earth had been taken back in time by about ten years and with the rangers at a childlike form, they could not transform even if their
Power Coins had been restored. However, there was another way. Adam, along with the others, went on a journey to get the power crystals to the fabled Zeo Crystal. This Zeo Crystal was different and contained a different power source. This was how Adam became the Green Zeo Ranger. With this new power, they were able to defeat Master Vile and everyone else but at the same time a new evil arose. The Machine Empire.
Throughout his senior year, Adam and his friends would fight the
Machine Empire until finally, they were defeated and all was well. That is, until Divatox came in and decided she wanted the Earth for herself. Zordon, their Mentor, felt it was prudent to upgrade their powers. They all recieved the Power of Turbo. However, this power did not last long. They had all graduated from high school by this time and so Zordon felt that it wa time to move on. Adam passed his powers on to a young man named Carlos Vallertes. He wasn't very happy about this at all though and always felt that he should have stayed a Ranger.
In the end, he moved on. But he stayed in Angel Grove for a while, even at one point helping Carlos when he was down. A monster attacked and with no powers, Carlos was in trouble. Adam risked his life and used his damaged power coin. It nearly killed him but in the end, they were fine.
Years later, Adam moved on and opened his own dojo. But it seemed his work was not over just yet. After the current ranger team, called
Operation Overdrive, lost their powers due to them malfunctioning in an attack with the villian. The Sentinel Knight decided they would need replacements until they were fixed. He called upon Adam as one such replacement. For a little while, Adam was back in action. He even brought back Alpha V to help restore their Morphin Grid and their powers. With their powers restored, the former rangers were not needed any longer and Adam resumed his life as a sensei in his dojo.
Character personality:
Adam, as a teen, was fairly quiet and shy. But after his time as a ranger, he learned to come out of his shell and show who he really was. He is a great friend, still the quiet-type, and he will always fight for what he believes in. He also has a sense of humor that did not come out until he was a Zeo Ranger, being much more comfortable with himself by then. His martial arts style that he uses to fight is
Shaolin Kung Fu and he is shown to be spiritual at times. Often in the background, his true power is not always shown. However, being the
Green Ranger with both the Zeo and Turbo powers, a little of what he can do and even leadership skills lurk beneath his quiet personality. It wasn't until he led the team of "Retro Rangers" that his leadership skills were finally shown.
Physical description: Korean, about 5'10,
black hair and dark drown eyes.
Magical powers or special skills: Currently can only use the Black Mighty Morphin Powers due to the Sentinel Knight restoring them after they had been lost or passed on nearly 10 years prior.
